We expect the top four teams to represent the region at Whitnash PC on Saturday 6 June. (We may exceptionally be asked to submit more than four teams, depending upon the number of entries from other regions)
Sue McKechnie will be non-playing team captain for the day.
All women pétanquers in the Great Western region are invited to enter a women’s doubles tournament to celebrate International Women’s Day. Entry is FREE and you don’t need to be a PE member to enter.
The event will be run by Pam McKeown and Emma Pople of City of Bath PC at Larkhall Sports Club on Sunday, 8 March with 9:30am registration for a 10am start.
The format will be Swiss (winners play winners, losers play losers) with all teams playing in each round.
There will be tea & coffee available in the shed and the main clubhouse will be open for drinks and snacks but please bring your own lunch.
The more teams that enter, the more we can take to the national event so please enter to support the region and International Women’s Day.
If you’d like to play but don’t have a team mate, please contact Pam McKeown and she will try to pair you up.
