" All 16 PE Regions have been encouraged to run a similar Women’s Doubles Competition in 2020 as part of ‘Celebrating International Women’s Day’ during March/April 2020 with the top 20% of the teams invited to represent their Region at a National IWD Champions Day to be held in Sunday 19th April at Rainworth PC.

The rationale for having a percentage representation is that it will mean the more teams that enter the regional Women’s Doubles, the more places they will be allocated at the National event.

​

For example, if the Southern Competition attracts 30 teams and Sussex Regional competition attracts 10, then the allocation of  teams representing their region would be 6 and 2 respectively  to play at the National event.

So please consider entering a pair for our GWR regional qualifier. "
