" All 16 PE Regions have been encouraged to run a similar Women’s Doubles Competition in 2019 as part of ‘Celebrating International Women’s Day’ during March/April 2019 with the top 20% of the teams invited to represent their Region at a National IWD Champions Day to be held in April.

The rationale for having a percentage representation is that it will mean the more teams that enter the regional Women’s Doubles, the more places they will be allocated at the National event.

For example, if the Southern Competition attracts 30 teams and Sussex Regional competition attracts 10, then the allocation of  teams representing their region would be 6 and 2 respectively  to play at the National event.

So please consider entering a pair for our GWR regional qualifier. "
