GWR is the Great Western Region of Pétanque England who organise and promote the game of Pétanque or Boules (French bowls) in the West of England counties of Gloucestershire,North Somerset & Wiltshire.

GWR 2025 SHOOTING CHAMPION is
Alan McInnes
Phil Bradshaw came second to Alan McInnes in the regional Shooting championship. They both scored 28 points but Alan had four carreaux to Phil's two so Alan won on count-back.

In the shooting, the top four were:
1. Alan McInnes, 28 points with 4 carreaux GWR CHAMPION
2. Phil Bradshaw, 28 points with 2 carreaux
3. Alex Moriarty, 23 points
4. Mark Gay, 22 points
